Clergy appointment and ordinations

In the Missionary Diocese of the East, the Rev. J.T. Brantley was appointed to be Registrar of the Latimer Theological Institute.

The Rev. B.T. Davis and the Rev. Dr. J.C. King were conditionally ordained to the diaconate on June 26, 2020. They were conditionally ordained priests on June 27, 2020. Both services were held at St. John’s Reformed Church, Kannapolis, North Carolina.

Upcoming course: Introduction to Systematic Theology

The course “Introduction to Systematic Theology” through Latimer Theological Institute will begin October 8, 2019. The class will be taught by the Rev. Paul Castellano.
 
Required texts are Introduction to Dogmatic Theology: on the basis of the Thirty-Nine Articles by E.A. Litton and Everyone’s a Theologian: an Introduction to Systematic Theology by R.C. Sproul.

Church Growth and Planting class

Note: The start date has been changed to January 15th.

Latimer Theological Institute will offer a Church Growth and Planting course led by the Rev. Patrick Rodgers. The three-credit course will begin Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 7 p.m. (Eastern). Class meetings will be held weekly on Tuesdays through March 26th. Sessions will be conducted via web conferencing.

Textbooks for the course are The Celtic Way of Evangelism by George G. Hunter, III, and The Irish Way by the Rev. Rodgers.
