James (Jim) Everette Neese was ordained deacon by the Most Rev. Peter D. Robinson on October 15, 2020 at Good Shepherd Anglican Church in Waynesboro, Virginia. Deacon Neese is assigned as assistant minister at Paul’s Chapel in Lexington, North Carolina.
The Rev. Michael Weiss (ACC) was licensed to officiate in the Missionary Diocese of the East for a further three years, effective October 1, 2020.
In the Missionary Diocese of the East, the Rev. J.T. Brantley was appointed to be Registrar of the Latimer Theological Institute.
The Rev. B.T. Davis and the Rev. Dr. J.C. King were conditionally ordained to the diaconate on June 26, 2020. They were conditionally ordained priests on June 27, 2020. Both services were held at St. John’s Reformed Church, Kannapolis, North Carolina.
The Rev. Daniel Sparks was received into the United Episcopal Church by Letters of Transfer from the Convocation of Anglicans in North America on 16th June 2020. The Rev. Mr. Sparks serves as a Veterans’ Administration Hospital Chaplain in Columbia, Missouri.
The Rev. Charles Mattina of Delaware has received permission to officiate in the Missionary Diocese of the East, effective April 5, 2019.
The Rev. Joe Moahler of Williamsburg, Virginia was received into the United Episcopal Church of North America on February 16, 2019 at Good Shepherd Anglican Church, Waynesboro, Virginia, by Presiding Bishop Peter Robinson.

The Convocation of the Missionary District of the East met at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Huntersville, NC on Saturday July 26th. Canons were approved for the governance of the Missionary District, and a Council of Advice and Board of Examining Chaplains were elected. The former Bishop of the Missionary District, the Rt. Rev. Joseph H. Dobson, was voted Bishop Emeritus. The day had opened at 9.45am with Morning Prayer and Communion at which the Presiding Bishop celebrated; and closed with Evening Prayer and Sermon at 3pm.

The Presiding Bishop has called the organising Convocation of the Missionary District of the East for July 26th 2014. It will meet at the Huntersville Arts and Cultural Center, 119 S. Old Statesville Road, Huntersville.
Every clergyman in the Eastern District is entitled to be present and voting at the meeting. Lay delegates are apportioned three to a parish; two to a mission; and one to an authorized place of public worship such as an oratory or chapel.
