The Missionary Diocese of the West has been renamed the Western Archdeaconry and attached to the Missionary Diocese of the South and Ozarks. The UECNA House of Bishops determined that this arrangement will provide a greater degree of pastoral and administrative support for congregations in the West. The Western missionary diocese had been without a bishop ordinary for several years.

The Most Rev. Peter D. Robinson ordained Rick Ball as a deacon on November 5, 2022 at Good Shepherd Anglican Church in Waynesboro, Virginia. The ordination was conducted on behalf of the Rt. Rev. George Conner for the Missionary Diocese of the West. The Rev. Ball will serve at St. Bede’s Anglican Church in Tucson, Arizona.
The Rt. Rev. D. Presley Hutchens was received in the United Episcopal Church from the Anglican Catholic Church (ACC) on September 3, 2022. Before retirement, Bishop Hutchens served as ordinary of the ACC Diocese of New Orleans. He is now licensed in the Missionary Diocese of the South and Ozarks.
The Rev. Christian Dove and the Rev. Sergio Gonzalez were ordained to the priesthood by the Most Rev. Peter D. Robinson at Good Shepherd Anglican Church, Waynesboro, Virginia, on August 19, 2022.
The Rev. Lawrence Jones, presbyter, and Mrs. Nancy Jones, deaconess, were received into the Missionary Diocese of the Southand Ozarks from the Reformed Episcopal Church on August 8, 2022.

Archbishop Peter Robinson will teach a church history course for Latimer Theological Institute beginning May 5, 2022. The Rt. Rev. Daniel J. Sparks ordained Anthony Cirilla to the diaconate on April 23, 2022 in the Missionary Diocese of the South and Ozarks. The new deacon will be assisting at St. Joseph Anglican Church in Branson, Missouri, where the service was held.
